Please enjoy the photos and videos as all of these cats are rescued!! We have been able to re-home many animals over the years but for some reason no one wanted to adopt these ones. While it's a struggle, we continue to enjoy the company of the cats knowing that they would have been euthanized if we didn't rescue them!!! Each one has a blog telling how they were rescued so read the older posts to find out more about the felines who live at the real "cat house".

She was a sign of bigger things to come...

Late one night when there was a power outage, my daughter came home from work and said, "look what I found in our yard". Of course.. you guessed it... it was a tiny grey stripped kitten. She was cute as any kitten could be and curled up on my chest right away. Since we had just been to the movies, my other daughter, Katie, named her Skittle! So now that made 5 cats. We needed to adopt out come of them yet conveniently no one ever wants simple grey colored kittens.. Skittle became part of the family quite quickly. She has beautiful eyes and the grace of a gazelle. She is playful as can be yet lovable too.
